Today’s my birthday and I decided to put the front back together and dial it in. It looks like the front and rear camber will be matching. Will be skating around… Wonder what it looks like air up. Need to finish installing lines and wire up the trunk.
I tell you what… It seems like the 20-30th of the month is the only time I have to work on this thing.
Got the S9 rear upper arm installed on the right side. I got back in October installed. Had an issue with one of the aluminum bushings holes. Drilled it out and it’s fine. Didn’t want to waste time waiting to get one from S9 in Canada. Ran out of time will do the other side later.
Decided I wanted to try out these double bellow bags instead of the UAS fronts. These are from Asia so we’ll see how well they work out. The specs on paper say these have more compression than the UAS so that means it would have more lift for me since I’m driving low and parking lower. With yay much lift. If these don’t work out UAS now makes double bellow aerosport.
This photo popped up on my Facebook feed. Apparently some company that makes the knock off aero of the L’Sportline kit is using my images. So I had to repost the what the OG LS400 looked like. Over a decade ago.
The OG LS400 had UAS aerosport bags on megan track coilover bodies. The new LS400 had 326power coilovers. Regardless what anyone says bags vs static.. brand vs brand. I don’t care… I’m building this car for me. Selling the 326power coilovers helped recoup costs for the build. Plus no one is buying air ride at the moment anyways.
Sadly the OG LS400 has been sitting for the longest time while I collected parts because the rear wheel bearings went bad. I fixed all that before making it to the new house and it sat again. Now it has no legs…
I bought these half projector retrofitted from Japan years back and finally decided it was time to rebuild to how I wanted. The LED tail lights also came from Japan.
I originally bought this black on black LS400 to part out and return to stock and keep the big brake kit for my self. After looking the car over and over again I decided it would be easier if I parted it out and kept the chassis for my self and swap all my parts over to it. The door jams are black, engine bay is black… If I paint the car an off color off black or dark any color it would be fine with black engine bay. Plus there were no holes cut for upper control arm slap. My suspension setup doesn’t require cutting holes =D
